May 7th, 2010 Gail officially conquered her battle with cancer. Every year since 2010 Gail has felt a call to honor those who helped her overcome by celebrating life through the creation of her annual Gail Pays it Forward event. After fighting cancer Gail wanted to help others fighting cancer by creating Gail’s Pay it Forward event. Now a ten year cancer survivor, for the past eight years Gail’s event has created hundreds and hundreds of bears for special kids.
One doesn't have to look any further than the face of a child to be inspired. The strength and courage demonstrated by so many young people battling this difficult disease is remarkable. These bears benefit organizations including Brent’s Place and Ronald McDonald House.
You can be part of this by paying it forward attending the event on Sunday May 5th or by donating to dress a bear. If you are interested to hand out and delivers bears please let Gail know and she will give details on Teddy Bear deliveries set up.
"It's so exciting to see the smiles, feel the joy, and here the giggles that every bear creates in these young people of strength and courage."
Any support that you can provide helps create that smile!
